In a 1964 Alfred Hitchcock looking outside from his room 204 of the former Hotel Zagreb said “The sunset of Zadar is the world’s most beautiful and incomparably better than in Key West, Florida”.So, why don’t believe him??? If you have any doubt… come and check by yourself!

Situated in the heart of the Adriatic Sea Zadar is a center of northern Dalmatia.
This archipelago counts 24 bigger and about 300 smaller islets and rocks, 3 Nature Parks – Telašćica, Velebit and Vransko Lake and 5 National Parks – Paklenica, Plitvice lakes, Kornati Islands, Krka and North Velebit.
Zadar and its surroundings are at the very top of the Croatian touristic offer.
A former fortress of the Venetian Republic, Zadar is old town and it’s a perfect place to discover some interesting facts. The old town is a treasure trove of archaeological treasures and monuments from the ancient, medieval and Renaissance periods. This is visible by a number of sacral and architectural monuments.

In the city with the most beautiful sunset, you can enjoy the symphony of the Sea Organ and magical urban light installation Pozdrav suncu [Greeting the Sun] near the new harbour.
If you close your eyes, the melody it produces takes you into the mystical world of mermaids … something very magical … at least that’s how I experienced it.
Beaches of Zadar: Borik (pebble and sand beach), Diklo, Kolovare (there is also the pool inside the sea), Vitrenjak (very suitable for small children and also accessible for wheelchair), Puntamika.

Also from Zadar you can easily go on daily trips to nearby islands or parks.
